Webbanking

Did you know that webbanking can save you money? It is a free service offered by most banks to make online transactions. Not only is it a free service, but you can save money by paying companies and individuals from your online account. That's right. It is free to have checks sent to companies and individuals for business and personal reasons. If you haven't registered for webbanking, call or visit your bank branch for more information on webbanking.

Bank Account Overdrafts

Paying $30+ or more for a bank overdraft of your account gets pretty expensive. If you don't have overdraft protection to prevent you from paying the total fee, what do you do? Do you accept that and go on until the next time and you have to pay another $30+. Did you know that when you are charged a fee at your bank for an overdraft that occurred on your account, you can call your branch office, or visit them and

request that the overdraft fee be waived. It is as simple as visiting your branch office or calling and requesting that the fee be waived. In many instances, the bank will waive the fee. Don't abuse the priviledge of having a fee waived by creating an overdraft on a recurring basis month after month.  If bank representatives see a pattern of overdrafts on your account, the fee will probably not be waived.

ATM Deposits and Withdrawals

Using a drive-up ATM to make a deposit or withdrawal costs you more money. If you are trying to save money and spend wisely, start by using the bank's ATM walkup service where there is no charge. By using the driveup ATM you are charged at least $2.00 minimum fee each time you use it. Not only do you pay for using it, you pay another $2.00 to your bank for that same service. By taking the time to either use the walkup ATM or go into your branch office to make your transactions, you are charged at least $4.00 mimimum for each transaction to withdraw your own money.
